It was THE BEST biscuits with sausage gravy that i have ever had. We drive a little over an hour to get to George's so we only make it there 9 or 10 times per year.
The servers are the best. One might expect them to know the locals (and they do), but they also know my wife and I and our 4yr old son. They call him by name when we arrive and engage with him in conversation.
A couple tips:
George's is cash only, but they added an ATM to the attached ice cream parlor a couple years ago.
Saturday and Sunday mornings often have a bit of a wait between 9:00 and 11:00, but you are rarely waiting over 35 minutes due to their efficiency and organization.May 17, 2017
